Moto Edge 40 Pro It will replace the Edge 30 Pro on the market, a smartphone that HDblog readers reviewed last March (here instead you’ll find our test) and which was announced by Winged House the previous month. It was never talked about directlythe first information appeared from the TDRA and EEC certificates that allowed us to determine the model number: XT2301-4.
This is the symbol that confirms that Edge 40 Pro is likely to be the international version of the Moto X40 (XT2301-5), the device for which we already have the first information provided by Lenovo Group GM Chen Jin. The two codes that have appeared so far from different documents are too similar to belong to two different smartphones: so it is assumed that the Moto X40 and Moto Edge 40 Pro are actually the same product intended for different markets. After all, the Moto (Edge) X30 and Moto Edge 30 Pro were too (except for the battery).
So let’s expect a device based on the mobile platform Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Edge 30 Pro Stop Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 – Equipped with a slightly curved OLED screen at the edges with a refresh rate of 165 Hz and 8/12 GB of RAM LPDDR5Xfront camera from 60 megapixels (Like his predecessor) and three later than 50 MP (main) + 50 MP (ultra wide angle) + 12 mega pixel (from afar).
The image above is related to the Moto X40 (TENAA source). If the two smartphones will indeed be the same device intended for different markets, then from an aesthetic point of view the Moto Edge 40 Pro should offer this design as well.
