This is not the first time that cybercriminals have targeted the horse, as a group called Everest recently acquired data and projects from Ferrari as well as Lamborghini and Maserati. In this case, the attack was directed at component partner Speroni SpA, so the Maranello IT infrastructure was not directly affected. The files stolen from Ferrari are now available online and can be downloaded for free: so the RansomEXX group decided to launch a ruthless attack and the consequences are still not quantified. It is not known how much money the cybercriminals demanded from Maranello, the fact is that the damage is already huge in itself because 7 GB of stolen data is accessible to everyone. Recalling the site Red Hot Cyber ​​that first broke the news, accessing the Onion network through Tor is now accessible to everyone, since it does not require special computer skills. This only makes the situation worse.
